Login and security for your team

Updated today

Managing login and security settings for your team helps keep your Setmore account safe while ensuring your team members have the right level of access.

Not only that, each team member login comes with a unique calendar and booking link. Empower team members to book appointments independently and manage their own schedules.

Please note:

  • Logins can only be activated for team members with a valid email address in their team member details.

  • Only one team login can be created using this email address, even if a team member is associated with multiple Setmore accounts.

Add/edit a team members login email

If a team member needs to add or update the email associated with their Setmore account, simply add a new email to their team profile by clicking the pencil icon at the top right.

Learn how in our how to change your login email support article.

Change team member password

To update a team members password, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Your Team > Select the team members profile

  2. Click the ‘pencil icon’ to edit

  3. In the profile, go to Login & security.

  4. Click Send reset link

  5. Your team member will receive a reset password email to their login email address.

Note: The link to set a password expires in 24 hours. Learn more about how to recover or change your password.

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

2FA adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a verification code in addition to your password. This helps protect your account even if your password is compromised.

Follow the step-by-step guide in our 2FA support article.

Change team members permission level

To change what your team member can view and manage:

  1. Go to Settings > Your Team > select the team member

  2. Click the ‘pencil’ icon

  3. Go to Login & security

  4. Click the dropdown under Permission level

  5. Select their permission level:

    1. No Access: Cannot log in. Calendar managed only by enhanced permission holders.

    2. Standard: Can view and manage their own calendar only.

    3. Enhanced: Can view and manage all team calendars and customer profiles.

    4. Admin: Full access: all enhanced permissions plus the ability to manage account settings.

Note: Assign permissions carefully to ensure your team has access only to what they need.

By updating login details, enabling 2FA, and setting appropriate permission levels, you can protect your account and make sure your team operates efficiently. Always review your team’s access periodically to keep your account secure.
