Track cash payments for Setmore appointments in your calendar

The Setmore Cash Register is a substitute virtual point-of-sale (POS) system. Easily record and manage your business’ cash transactions for customer appointments. With the Cash Register feature activated, you can log all your cash payments and generate printable and digital receipts.

In this article, you’ll find a step-by-step guide on how to activate Cash Register in your mobile app. We’ll also cover how to log cash payments, view past transactions and payment history, and deactivate the feature. Let’s begin!


Activating Cash Register on your mobile app

1. On your Setmore mobile app, navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Payments’

2. Under ‘Payment Settings’, select ‘Cash Register’.

3. On the Cash Register screen, click ‘Activate Cash Register’. The ‘Activated’ toggle will now be switched on to signal the feature is active.

Deactivating Cash Register on your mobile app

1. On your Setmore mobile app, navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Payments’

2. Under ‘Payment Settings’, select ‘Cash Register’.

3. On the Cash Register screen, toggle off the ‘Activated’ button. You will see a prompt to disable the Cash Register feature. Click ‘Deactivate Cash Register’ to complete the deactivation process.

Record a cash payment for an appointment

1. In your Setmore mobile app, click ‘Calendar’ and select the appointment you want to log a cash payment for.

2. You will now see the Appointment Details screen for the selected appointment. Select ‘Payments’ tab > ‘Take Payment'.

3. The payment will now be processed and you will see a pop-up stating ‘Transaction Successful’. Click ‘Next’ (located on the upper right corner) to view the digital receipt of the logged payment.

Checking past appointment payments

1. In your Setmore mobile app, click ‘Calendar’ and select the past appointment you want to view payment details for.

2.In the Appointment Details screen of the selected appointment, click ‘Payment’. Your app will now fetch all transaction details logged for that appointment.

Viewing Payment History

1.In your Setmore mobile app, navigate to ‘Settings’ > ‘Payments’.

2.Under Payment Settings, click ‘Payment History’. You can now view all the logged payments in your Setmore account.
