Every appointment includes a booking source — a label that tells you exactly how or where that appointment was created.
Whether a customer booked themselves online, or you added it manually, the booking source helps you understand how your calendar is being filled. You can find the booking source inside the appointment details.
Open any appointment from your calendar, and look for the Booked via field within the appointment widget. This will display one of the sources listed below.
Booking Sources
Source | What it means |
Booked from web app | This means you or a team member added this appointment to your calendar on the web app |
Booked from desktop app | This means you or a team member added this appointment to your calendar on the desktop app |
Booked from Android app | This means you or a team member added this appointment to your calendar on the android app |
Booked from iOS app | This means you or a team member added this appointment to your calendar on the iOS app |
Booked from your branded app | This means a customer has used your branded mobile app to book their appointment |
Booked from Instagram | This means a customer has booked an appointment via your ‘Book Now’ button on your Instagram business profile |
Booked from Facebook | This means a customer has booked an appointment via your ‘Book Now’ button on your Facebook business profile |
Booked from QR code | This means a customer has used your branded mobile app to book their appointment |
Booked from website | This means a customer has used your branded mobile app to book their appointment |
Note: The booking source is read-only and is assigned automatically by Setmore based on how the appointment was created. It cannot be edited.
