What is a Passkey? 🔐
A Passkey is a digital key stored on your device that lets you securely access your accounts without needing to repeatedly enter your login details. Your passkey uses the same fingerprint, face, or PIN you already use to unlock your device. Your login details do not change, they are securely stored in your browser.
How it works:
When you create a passkey, your device generates a secure, private key that stays on your device and never leaves it.
This key isn’t shared with our servers, instead, your device sends a secure confirmation to us that lets you sign in using your passkey.
From there, you can log in using Face ID, Touch ID, your fingerprint, or your preferred authentication method.
