How to share and hide a service category

Learn how to hide service categories from your Booking Page and share them privately with select customers using a direct booking link

You can choose whether a service category appears on your Booking Page and share a direct booking link to that category when needed.

Hiding a category is useful if you want to offer exclusive services — such as VIP packages, members-only appointments, or special discounted rates — without making them visible to all customers. When a category is hidden, it won't appear on your Booking Page.

You can still share the category with specific customers by sending them its direct booking link, giving them access to book services within that category while keeping it hidden from everyone else.

How to share a service category

  1. Log in to your Setmore account and go to Services.

  2. Hover over the service category you want to share.Click the three dots (...) that appear to the right of the category name.

  3. Select Copy booking link to copy the category-specific URL, or select Share to send it directly.



How to hide a service category on your Booking Page

  1. Log in to your Setmore account and go to Services.

  2. Hover over the service category you want to hide. Click the three dots (...) that appear to the right of the category name.

  3. Use the toggle to turn Show on Booking Page off. The category will no longer be visible to customers on your public Booking Page if you turn this off.

Please note: When you hide a category from your Booking Page, it does not automatically hide the services within it. You will need to hide these individually.


How to share a hidden category

Once a category is hidden, you can still share it directly with specific customers using a booking link. Only customers with the link will be able to view and book from that category.

  1. Hover over the hidden service category and click the three dots (...).

  2. Select Copy Link.

  3. Share this link directly with your customers via email, SMS, or any other channel.
