Video-enabled services can be scheduled through your calendar and Booking Page. As soon as an appointment is added, you and your guest receive a Google Meet video link in your email confirmations.

Ready to integrate with Google Meet? Here’s how to do it in 4 simple steps.

Activate the Setmore and Google Meet integration

  • Log into your Setmore web app with your Google credentials and navigate to Integrations > Google Meet. Click the ‘Activate’ button.

  • You’ll see a pop-up that tells you activation was successful. To enable Google Meet video meetings, select ‘Go to Staff’.

  • Within your staff profile, toggle the ‘Google Sync’ switch on. Each staff member who will use Google Meet will need to do this within their own profile.

  • Go to Settings > Services and select the services to be video-enabled. Google Meet video links are automatically created when these services are booked.

Deactivate the Google Meet integration (Web app)

  • In your Setmore web app, head to Integrations > Google Meet.

  • There is a ‘Deactivate’ button on the left side of the card. Click it.

  • A prompt will appear asking you for confirmation. Select ‘Deactivate’ once again.

  • A pop-up will tell you deactivation was successful. Click 'Okay'.

Activate the Google Meet integration (Mobile app)

  • Open your Setmore mobile app and navigate to Integrations > Google Meet.

  • Tap ‘Activate Now’. Note: If you’ve activated another video integration, you’ll be prompted to deactivate it first.

  • Head back to ‘Account’ and choose ‘Services’. Tap a service and in the ‘Service Details’ menu, switch on ‘Video meeting’. A prompt will let you know video meetings are now enabled for this service.

  • Head back to ‘Account’ and choose ‘Staff’. Select your staff profile and switch on ‘Google Sync’. Each staff member will need to do this within their profile to enable Google Meet video meetings.

Remove a Google Meet link (Mobile app)

  • In your mobile app, open your calendar and select an appointment.

  • The Appointment Details will appear. Tap the menu button (3 dots) in the top right corner of your screen.

  • Choose ‘Remove video meeting’. A prompt will let you know the video link was removed successfully.

  • Note: To add a video link again, follow this process and at step 3, select ‘Add video meeting’.

This retains the appointment in your calendar but removes the video meeting link.

Deactivate the Google Meet integration (Mobile app)

  • Open your Setmore mobile app and head to Integrations > Google Meet.

  • Hit the switch next to ‘Activated’. A prompt will ask you if you’d like to deactivate Google Meet. Select ‘Deactivate’.


Currently, Google Meet links can be generated for 1:1 appointments only. Links are accessible in your calendar (under the ‘Appointment Details’ for individual bookings) and in your email confirmations. At the start time of your video meeting, just click the link to join.
