What is a domain transfer?
A domain transfer is a process of changing the designated registrar/owner of a domain name. Once a transfer has been made, the new registrar/owner maintains all relevant information regarding the domain and the registrant.
Transfer a domain from Setmore to your business
2. With the email address used to create your account, email firstname.lastname@example.org. Use the subject heading ‘Domain transfer request’.
3. Team Setmore will handle your request within 24 hours and reply via email to confirm receipt.
4. A domain transfer invitation is emailed to you. Accept the invitation and follow the steps given to complete the transfer.
Note: By transferring ownership, you agree to cover all renewal charges. You can enable auto-renewal by adding your card details.
