Account for the time needed between appointments to update your notes or clean up. Adding buffer time to a service’s duration guarantees you that window.
Example: If you have a 30-minute service, but it takes 10 minutes to clean up afterward, add a 10-minute buffer time. In your calendar, the appointment will take up to 40 minutes in total.
Buffer time isn’t visible to customers. The service duration appears on your Booking Page, not the extra time around it.
Add buffer time to a service.
1. Open Services and select a service.
2. Select ‘More options’ and then ‘Booking policy’.
3. Enter your preferred buffer time and save your changes.
